GAIN Capital Announces Content Partnerships with Leading Providers of Forex Decision Support Services

Additional Market Analytics, Real-Time News, And Charting Packages Now Offered To Clients Of Firm's Web-Based FX Trading Application

WARREN, NJ, November 1, 2000 - GAIN Capital, the premier source for online currency trading (www.gaincapital.com), today announced partnerships with several leading providers of foreign exchange related trading tools.

The new decision support services complement the core offering in GAIN's dealing software, which includes real time streaming news from Market News International, a charting package, a real time ticker monitoring all financial markets, a comparative Interbank rate feed, and intra-day market commentary provided by GAIN's trading team. GAIN's dealing software is provided to clients free of charge.

Mark Galant, GAIN's CEO and Founder, commented that the partnerships are part of an effort to expand the services available to GAIN's growing client base. "Using our own market experience and preferences, we sought out the best available offerings in the areas of analytics, real-time news sources, and charting applications." Many of these tools and services were once exclusively available to traders and salespeople at major financial institutions," continued Mr. Galant. "We want our clients to make informed trading decisions, and that requires equal access to market information."

The selected vendors include such established names as Thomson Financial's IFR, Aspen Graphics, 4Cast, Pronet Analytics, a trading subsidiary of The Market Age plc.; and MoneyLine. The services are offered to GAIN clients at a discounted subscription rate.

"By partnering with a leading firm such as GAIN Capital, we have the opportunity to extend our application and content hosting services to include a rapidly growing segment of the FX market, which includes hedge funds, money managers, corporate treasury and retail investors," commented Tim Murphy, MoneyLine's Vice President of Sales. MoneyLine is a leading provider of hosted Internet-based transactional services, real-time and historical content, and applications to financial professionals.

A recommended reading list has also been added to the firm's Web site. Galant noted that the bookstore is the first phase of a planned educational program designed to familiarize retail investors about foreign exchange trading. The reading list includes books about trading in currency markets, mastering technical analysis, and self-directed investing, and can be purchased through an affiliate program with Amazon.com.

GAIN Capital, founded in 1999, offers institutional and individual investors direct access to 24-hour, commission-free Forex trading at Interbank spreads. GAIN Capital's Internet-based service raises the bar for the industry - in terms of standards, highly respected staff and superior dealing practices - and revolutionizes the practice of FX trading by allowing clients to instantly deal from live, streaming quotes.
