GAIN Capital, Inc. Wins Enterprise Award For Growth and Achievement
Named "Best Start Up Company" by the Eastern Technology Council
WARREN, NJ - December 9, 2002 - GAIN Capital, Inc. the premier independent provider of foreign exchange services, including direct-access trading and asset management, has been named "Best Start Up Company" by the Eastern Technology Council (ETC), a Philadelphia-based association representing approximately 1,000 technology-oriented companies.
The award was announced December 3rd at the Eastern Technology Council's 10th Annual Enterprise Awards, which are the most heavily attended and most competitive awards in the region. Over 1500 people gathered for a black-tie ceremony and dinner.
GAIN Capital was one of three finalists in the "Start Up Company of the Year" category. Firms eligible for the award had to be in business less than three years and demonstrate the following criteria: solid growth in revenue, profitability and expansion initiatives; product or service innovation; credentials of management team and its collective ability and record of achieving success.
This year's Enterprise Awards included regional technology companies and educational institutions competing for seven awards, including Startup Company, Technology Growth Company, Life Sciences Achievement Award, Company of the Year, Educational Program of the Year, CEO Under Age 40 and CEO of the Year.
